TPIC aims to create a healthy and safe working environment in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation, to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases, and to achieve global standards in this field.
The main objective of our OHS awareness is to identify hazards that may harm employee health, safety, and the workplace through a proactive approach, and to prevent or effectively control potential risks.
In this context, it is aimed to prioritize the health and safety of all personnel operating in the field while fulfilling the necessary administrative and physical conditions. In addition, the complete provision and implementation of personal protective equipment and safety gear, which are prioritized in achieving many standards from work motivation to institutionalization, are ensured.
Believing that the most effective safety measure lies in being conscious and well-trained, TPIC attaches importance to organizing both theoretical and practical training programs in coordination with the Human Resources Department without distinguishing between personnel or departments, and plans to maintain this sensitivity sustainably and with continuous improvement each year
Efforts are made to control and assess at the source all environmental impacts that may arise during TPIC’s operational areas and contractor/subcontractor activities. Environmental effects and risks are evaluated, and efforts are carried out to reduce these risks. Environmental awareness-raising training sessions are provided to employees to enhance environmental consciousness and promote continuous improvement. Supplies needed for environmental protection during routine operations and potential pollution events are provided. Appropriate use and monitoring of waste areas licensed by the Provincial Directorates of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change are ensured. Additionally, the management of all hazardous/non-hazardous waste resulting from operations is carried out through recovery or disposal. As a complement to waste management, Basic Level Zero Waste Certificates have been obtained for the recycling of waste such as glass, paper, and plastic generated at facilities under the Zero Waste Project initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and compliance with the project requirements is monitored.
An organization is established to respond to emergencies in the shortest time and most effectively through emergency plans and procedures, supported by training and drills.
Continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System is ensured by encouraging employee participation through activities such as effective audits and raising awareness.
Through the corrective actions we have enhanced, we aim to identify non-conformities in our processes and turn them into improvement opportunities, thereby increasing our quality in a sustainable manner.
